Caesars Palace Casino Raises Money for Charity
It was truly a star-studded occasion in March of 2025, when dozens of celebrity players gathered together at the Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas to take part in the third annual ‘Opportunity Village Poker Tournament’. The event was held in order to raise money for the Rehabilitation Center ‘Opportunity Village’, which treats and cares for mentally disabled patients.
The casino was positively jam packed with A, B, and C list celebrities, all of them eager to get in on the action. Among those in attendance were Kevin Burke, Earl Tuner, Bobby Slayton, Mystic Mona, Frankie and Joey Scinta, the cast of ‘The Thunder from Down Under’, Skip Martin, Robin Leach, Kool and the Gang, Rollie Fingers, and the Fantasy Girls.
Around 200 poker players joined in on the $500 No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament. Ronald Kornak won the first place and was awarded ten thousand dollars cash and a slot on the main event of the 2025 World Series of Poker.
All proceeds from the tournament, the fashion show that was also held during the same event, and the silent auction held earlier was donated to the Opportunity Village in Nevada, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to community rehabilitation.
