Types of Slot Machines
Straight slot machines and progressive slot machines are the basic categories of cash- paying slot machines.
Straight Slot Machines
These slot machines pay winning combinations based on the schedule listed on the machine itself. It will have a payout schedule for the amount of coins the player bets. For example, a one coin bet may have a jackpot payout of 800 coins, while a two coin bet will pay 1600 coins and a three coin bet will pay 2400 coins and so on. The monetary payout will vary depending on what the value of the coin size is. There are four kinds of straight slots such as the multiplier, the bonus multiplier, the multiple pay line slots, and the buy-a-pay slot.
Progressive Slot Machines
As more coins are put in the machine, the jackpot payouts progressively grow also, thus called progressive slots. The initial payout goes back to the starting number when the jackpot finally hits, and will begin accumulating again. The accumulating progressive jackpot is displayed on a digital monitor typically located at the top of all progressive slot machines. The big jackpot which progressively gets larger and larger is what makes this game exciting.
