Online slot games and the recession

During this financial crisis that the United States and other countries are going through right now, it has taken its toll on the online gaming industry. Many online casinos that a year ago were reaping the benefits of regular loyal players visiting their establishments have now been absent if not all together gone. Revenue is down, and some of these newer online casinos have folded up and closed or have been bought out by other big companies. How has the recession affected your slot play? Do you still frequent your favorite casino's or have you also cut back on your once favorite pastime, playing online slot games? Even the land based casinos are feeling the pinch of no big players right now; Las Vegas and Atlantic City both have reported big losses over the past year. Those of us that still do enjoy the sound of winning music at our favorite slot machines might even have better odds at winning right now, because there is less slot traffic, making it a little easier to become the next jackpot winner! I can dream right, I would think that If I am playing at a online casino that is having less traffic then normal, then the odds of me or someone I may know, winning a big amount has to be better than ever, or am I wrong? Do the online casinos make up for the difference in visitors by making the slot machines even harder to win off of? Maybe something to think about next time you put a coin in your favorite slot.
